PAVEIKSLAS "NEMUNAS"
The artwork “Nemunas” was created based on M. K. Čiurlionis’s vignette for the Lithuanian folk song “Anoj pusėj Nemuno IV” (1909).
The fabric features a distinctive network of lines and patterns composed of interwoven layers of terrestrial and aquatic plant motifs, creating a sense of spatial depth in the textile. The flowing patterns evoke a feeling of musical rhythm within the woven piece.
